For buyers · How buying works
one owner. genuinely worn. properly presented.
Every piece on The Roster belonged to the creator whose storefront it sits on, worn by him and consigned to us. We clean it, photograph it to an editorial standard, and ship it discreetly to your door. Here is exactly what to expect when you buy.
A genuine piece, presented the way it deserves.
Resale usually asks you to trust a stranger's description and a phone snapshot. The Roster does the opposite. Every listing is built to the same standard, so you know precisely what you are getting before you buy.
Actually his
Every item was owned and worn by the creator on the page, then consigned to us to sell on his behalf. Nothing is sourced from a warehouse or restocked from a supplier. The story is the piece, and the story is real.
When it's gone, it's gone
Most pieces exist as a single item. What you see on a storefront is the whole inventory, not a size run. If something speaks to you, it will not be there to reconsider next week.
Described as it truly is
Each listing carries measurements and clear, unembellished notes on wear, photographed under consistent light so the images match what arrives. We would rather name a mark than hide it.
Ready to wear on arrival
Everything is brought to a clean, presentable standard before it lists. Washables are laundered; provenance pieces that a wash would harm are spot-cleaned, steamed, and deodorized. It reaches you ready to wear.
From the storefront to your door.
Browse a seller's edit
Each storefront holds one creator's consigned pieces, added in weekly drops. Start on the page of the creator you follow.
Read the piece, not just the photo
Provenance, condition, and measurements are laid out on every listing. Take a moment with them; each item is unique, so the detail matters.
Check out securely
The Roster is the merchant of record. You buy from us, over a secure checkout, and the seller never sees your name or address.
We ship discreetly
Plain, unbranded packaging, tracked to your door. The charge on your statement reads as a neutral descriptor, never as anything revealing.
It's yours
A genuine piece from someone you follow, one of one, and no longer available to anyone else.
Delivered worldwide, and quietly.
Discretion is not a setting here; it is the default on every order, for the buyer as much as the seller.
We ship internationally
Wherever you are, we can get a piece to you, fully tracked. On international orders, any customs duties and import taxes are the buyer's responsibility, assessed by your local authority on delivery. Full details live in our Shipping policy.
Nothing on the outside
Unbranded packaging, no sender identity, and a neutral billing descriptor. Neither the seller nor anyone glancing at your statement learns what you bought. What you own is your business.
Sold as seen, with one exception.
Because every piece is one of a kind and genuinely worn, all sales are final. There is a single, important exception, and we honor it without fuss.
If an item arrives materially not as described, tell us within three days of delivery with photos. We will make it right with a refund or store credit, at our discretion.
Reach us any time at support@theroster.store. The full terms live in our Shipping policy and Refund policy, and they always govern.
A few more things buyers ask.
Is everything really worn by the seller?
Yes. Every piece is consigned by the creator on the page and was genuinely his. We are the merchant of record and sell it on his behalf, but the provenance is real. That is the entire point of The Roster.
How do I know the condition before I buy?
Every listing carries measurements and plain notes on any wear, with photography shot under consistent light. If something is not clear, email us before you order and we will tell you exactly what the piece is like in person.
Do you ship internationally, and who pays duties?
We ship worldwide, fully tracked. On international orders, customs duties and import taxes are the buyer's responsibility and are assessed by your local authority. See the Shipping policy for specifics.
How discreet is the packaging and billing?
Packaging is plain and unbranded with no sender identity, and the charge on your statement reads as a neutral descriptor. Neither the seller nor anyone reading your statement learns what you purchased.
Can I return something?
All sales are final, because each piece is one of a kind and genuinely worn. The exception is an item that arrives materially not as described: report it within three days of delivery with photos, and we will resolve it with a refund or store credit at our discretion.
